*WALKING THE PATH OF PEACE | GANDHI JAYANTI* 

The morning of 1 October at Bethany Convent School, Greater Noida, began with a beautiful message of peace, truth and compassion as students came together for a special assembly commemorating Mahatma Gandhi.

Guided by the vision of our Principal, Sr. Dr. Shilpa Mary, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Vrinda Thakur, the assembly reflected upon the values that shaped Gandhiji’s life: truth, simplicity, non-violence and kindness.

Through thoughtful presentations and heartfelt reflections, our young Bethanites explored how courage does not always need a loud voice or force. Sometimes, it is found in choosing peace, standing for what is right and treating others with compassion.

The soulful rendition of Bapu’s favourite bhajans by the school choir added a serene touch to the morning. The assembly concluded with a meaningful pledge for peace, leaving everyone with a simple yet powerful thought: meaningful change begins with each one of us.

May we continue to walk the path of truth, serve with compassion and live the values we wish to see in the world.
